Volunteering is an amazing way to get a behind-the-scenes look at a professional golf tournament and experience up-close-and personal operations of this exciting event.

Each Korn Ferry Tour event is a massive undertaking, and the success of the Tournament depends on the commitment of a small army of volunteers. Each year, hundreds of volunteers donate their time to serve critical needs such as marshaling, scoring, transportation, hospitality services and many other important jobs.

Available Jobs


The following are brief descriptions of the typical volunteer committees for the tournament. Specific openings are not guaranteed, but the tournament will make every effort to accommodate your preferences. Please take a moment to review the following requirements before making your final committee selection.


ADMISSIONS / WILL CALL

Admissions/Will Call: Admissions volunteers are responsible for operating the ticket booth and assisting security to ensure that all spectators have the proper tickets for entry; Will-Call volunteers are responsible for assisting in a location for ticket buyers to pick up previously purchased tickets.


CADDIE SERVICES

Responsible for upkeep and management of Caddie area. Hand out yardage books, towels, etc. for Caddie use. Ensure that food and drinks remain replenished at all times.


CARTS / SHUTTLES

Manage the Cart Area and control the charging, distribution, and collection of carts to authorized personnel. Assist with personnel and volunteers to and from various locations on course.


DRIVING RANGE

Assist in providing and maintaining a suitable driving range for all contestants. Specific duties include maintaining supplies such as range balls and player identification signs.

Assist with any responsibilities volunteer committees may need on days available.


HOSPITALITY

Responsible for greeting and ensuring that all patrons have proper credentials to enter the hospitality suite area. Assist with maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of hospitality.


MARSHALS

Marshals ensure fair play among all participants as well as safety for spectators and are stationed at locations throughout the course. Focus is on the tees, landing areas, greens and spectator crosswalks.

PRACTICE FACILITIES
Assist in providing and maintaining a suitable driving range for all contestants. Specific duties include maintaining supplies such as range balls and player identification signs. Duties may also include helping golf staff clean and ship range balls after tournament.



PRO-AM

Assist with the organization and distribution of autographed framed photos for each group. You will also assist with amateur registration, gifting suite, and distribution prior to shotguns and/or at the Pairings Party.

SCOREBOARDS

Help with the assembly and teardown of electronic scoreboards throughout the course. (Sunday prior to tournament week and Monday after tournament only)


SCORING CONTROL

Assist in the management of the Korn Ferry Tour's scoring system (Wednesday ONLY).


STANDARD BEARERS

Responsible for carrying standard (with the names and scores for each professional) on the course for an entire round. Volunteers must be able to walk 18 holes of golf and carry a standard for the entire round. Basic golf knowledge is required. *Physically demanding*. (Saturday & Sunday ONLY)

Tee Water / Ecology*

Replenish water, ice, pairings, and other product on course, clearing and replacing trash bags, make sure no overflow of trash on course.  *Physically demanding


VOLUNTEER SERVICES

Responsible for overseeing the volunteer headquarters, handling uniform distribution and maintain a comfortable working environment for the volunteers.


WALKING SCORERS

Each scorer follows a particular group, marking each stroke and specific statistics. Substantial golf knowledge is necessary. Must be able to walk 18 holes.

Requirements to Volunteer

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age as of the first day of tournament week unless a parent or legal guardian signs the waiver in the volunteer registration. Junior volunteers must be ages 13 - 17. Please note, junior volunteers can volunteer only for certain committees outlined in registration.


SHIFT REQUIREMENTS

In general, volunteers are asked to complete a minimum of three (4-6 hours) shifts to participate as a volunteer. Most committees will have an a.m. and a p.m. shift, HOWEVER, some committees are not asked to report until later in the day due to the tournament needs. The volunteer chairpersons will coordinate the schedule for their committees based on the specific shift information provided by the volunteer.


VOLUNTEER PACKAGE

Is $50 and includes: one official tournament golf polo; hat or visor; volunteer pin; one volunteer badge allowing access to the grounds and free parking all week; two good any one day grounds tickets; and food and beverages for each day worked. Volunteer ages 13- 17 are not required to pay for their volunteer uniform package and will receive the same package as all other volunteers.

Volunteers who work a minimum of 4 shifts throught tournament week will be eligible for the lottery selection to play the Championship course the Monday after tournament week.
